Christmas Gift Guide

‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year’

Christmas is my favourite season, I absolutely love this time of year. The malls are bustling, Christmas carols can be heard all over town, tinsel-covered Christmas trees are up. It’s festive and happy 🙂

If you haven’t managed to do your Christmas shopping yet, with only 12 days to go until Christmas, here are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

Sometimes all you need is some flowers 🙂

Or something for the home? My husband and I are on a mission to redecorate our home and turn it into a beautiful space for our family. We are painting walls, redoing our kitchen cupboards, putting up wallpaper, rearranging furniture, etc.

It’s our youngest daughters first Christmas, so we decided to decorate the Christmas tree with these:

I got these baby ‘My 1st Christmas’ booties from Checkers for R49.99 (I think) I’m so impressed with the range of Christmas goodies and decorations that Checkers has this year and it’s really affordable. They are also revamping most of their stores, or at least the 3 or 4 that I have seen in the Western Cape and their new layout is gorgeous.

The Christmas stocking I got from CNA for R79.99.

I have a massive stationary fetish – anything from pens to pencils, to notebooks, diaries, planners – you name it. I can spend hours in any stationary aisle and especially the likes of Typo, PNA, CNA, etc. Stationary is a lovely quirky gift idea – a guaranteed winner gift!

I immediately grabbed this notebook the minute I saw it – It’s so pretty! And these brushes are just amazing – such a great combo gift idea to spoil that special lady friend, mom or sister in your life 🙂 and I mean – who can resist Rose Gold!

I got this gorgeous 2018 Planner from CUM for R289.96 – the best thing is that it runs from September 2017 – January 2019. I picked this up in September as my birthday present to myself and it’s in full use at the moment. It’s helped me so much with all my December planning.

Okay, so enough with the stationary and on to some makeup fun:) I have used all of these make-up products and I just love them.

These have been my go-to lippies this year – I just love them!

If you are a new mommy or just looking to feeds your kids some healthy snacks, I would highly recommend this book by Meg Faure and Kath Megaw. Both ladies are renowned in their professions and offer some valuable advice to parents trying to feed their kids healthy meals.

“Grounded firmly in science and using simple and inspiring ingredient combinations with minimal equipment and quick preparation times, the authors introduce a revolutionary way to wean babies. Includes over 50 delicious foolproof recipes.”

This would make a great Christmas gift!

And last but not least, if you’re looking to spoil someone with a fashionable buy, these rose gold shoes from Superbalist are a wowza and this gorgeous girls hat from Claire’s Accessories is just too adorable.

That’s a wrap folks – happy Christmas shopping! Most of these goodies are available online as well if you don’t have time to make it to the shops.
